The goals of the program are to promote cross-institutional exchange between students, postdocs, and faculty across the educational institutions, aid students in their search for postdoctoral mentors, help researchers identify future collaborators, and welcome students and postdocs into the broader engineering and scientific network.
The Centre will match students and postdocs with faculty hosts in their areas of research and provide funding for them to visit the other participating institutions of their choosing in order to present their work and ideas, learn new techniques and approaches in other research groups, engage in collaborative discussions and innovation, and broaden their perspective and career opportunities.

The participants of CASPR India Research Exchange Program would be given an opportunity to connect with the supervisors through an online mode. Based on ease in the travel restrictions and improvement in the pandemic situation; the participants can be funded for their stay in India. However in these circumstances the travel costs are to be borne by the individual participants.
We award research exchange grants for Center participants. These grants may be used to support research work being carried out. We anticipate ~10 awards of $500-5000 based on the quality of proposal being submitted. The travel & accommodation grants are presently closed due to the pandemic situation. These grants are likely to be opened up by Summer 2021.
The academic requirements that are displayed are applicable to currently available courses only and are updated annually in October and may be changed without notice.
