Impact assessment of CFR (Community Forest Right) through FRA (Forest Right Act) in Maharashtra, in tackling migration issues during unexpected situations like lock-down due to pandemic.

Community Forest Right (CFR) under Forest Right Act (FRA), has uplifted the movement, from 'exclusion' to the 'empowerment' of scheduled tribe and other traditional forest dwellers. The act has helped in generating sustainable livelihood opportunities within the territory of village itself. The study aims to understand how the CFR is impacting the migration issue of rural Maharashtra. Especially in such situation of pandemic when people have traveled back to their native villages and seeking for livelihood opportunities. In such situation how it is possible to bridge the gap with CFR
